**General Hospital spoilers reveal that the cast and crew are currently enjoying a planned two-week production break — and some are truly making the most of it. One standout is Cameron Mathison, who portrays the controversial Drew Cain. The actor has been giving fans a glimpse into his vacation adventures, and we’ve got all the details.
Daddy-Daughter Getaway
Through his Instagram posts and Stories, Mathison has shared that he’s spending quality daddy-daughter time with his daughter, Leila Mathison.
The pair are soaking up the beauty of Spain’s Canary Islands, exploring breathtaking scenery and taking in the island’s stunning natural landscapes. His Stories feature plenty of selfies with Leila, alongside gorgeous scenic shots from their travels.
Among the highlights is a photo of a striking black-sand beach they visited, as well as clips of Cameron splashing around in the ocean and enjoying the sunshine.
Lighthearted Moments
One funny video shows Cameron attempting to climb out of the water onto slippery lava rocks, while his daughter cautions him to be careful. The caption jokingly reads: “Getting out of the ocean and walking on lava rocks isn’t easy — I swear.”
He also posted clips of Leila enthusiastically singing along to music while he drives them to their next destination, captioning one video: “Daily car karaoke.” Clearly, the father-daughter duo are having an unforgettable trip.

Back on-screen, Drew Cain hasn’t been faring nearly as well. Following a staged “stroke,” he’s been left unable to walk or speak.
The shocking twist came after his wife, Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen), injected him with a drug to make it appear as though he had suffered a stroke — when he hadn’t at all.
Now Drew finds himself trapped in a nightmare scenario, and many viewers see it as karma for his past actions. The big question remains: who will come to his rescue — and how long will he remain a prisoner in his own home?
