Laura Collins’ Press Conference Takes a Turn
Laura is set to hold a press conference, likely to publicly recommend Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) for Congress. However, things don’t go as planned. She’s blindsided and forced to retreat — and all signs point to Sidwell being behind it.
Sidwell appears to have his own agenda, possibly aiming to position Willow Tait Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) in Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) place instead. He may believe Willow would be far easier to manipulate than Alexis.
Under normal circumstances, Laura would stand firm. But Sidwell is still holding Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) death over her head. With that leverage in play, Laura has little choice but to back down — offering Alexis a vague explanation for her sudden shift.
Michael and Chase’s Explosive Brawl
At the Quartermaine estate, tensions boil over as Michael and Chase get into a heated physical fight. Michael is furious after being questioned by police about Drew’s shooting and may even suspect Chase is setting him up. The confrontation escalates quickly, unfolding in front of Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).
Viewers know Chase planted Drew’s key on Michael’s keyring, but Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) witnessed it. While Wiley may not fully understand what he saw, overhearing a conversation about the keyring could prompt him to speak up.
With Brook Lynn caught in the middle — and her ties to both men — Chase could end up jeopardizing his own marriage.
Lucas Jones Takes a Dangerous Risk
Meanwhile, Lucas makes a bold and potentially reckless move involving Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo). The surgeon is still in love with his partner and recognizes that Marco’s darker behavior didn’t surface until he became entangled with Sidwell.
Determined to uncover the truth, Lucas attempts to gather information. But if Marco — or worse, Sidwell — realizes Lucas knows too much, his life could be in serious danger.

As an added twist, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) appears poised to make a mistake. Although she reconciled with Sidwell, she has been scheming behind his back. Unfortunately for Lucy, Sidwell may be ruthless — but he’s far from foolish.
