“Emmerdale watchers think Graham’s hidden secret from Joe explains his latest moves.”

Graham Foster’s strained, father-like relationship with Joe Tate seems to be deteriorating further, and Emmerdale viewers believe they know the reason.
After mysteriously returning to the Dales last month following a six-year absence, Graham (Andrew Scarborough) has been trying to repair ties with several villagers after faking his own death.
Once the locals got over the shock of seeing Graham alive, things haven’t been easy for him—especially after being rejected by former flame Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry), who is now happily married to Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock).
Meanwhile, Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) has tried to reconnect with the man he once saw as a father figure, but he’s already caught Graham in a major lie.

In Tuesday’s episode of the ITV soap (February 24), Joe continued with his plan to take over Butlers Farm, but Kim Tate (Claire King) soon revealed she had spotted Graham speaking with Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) at the pub. She then advised Joe to test Graham’s loyalty.
Joe instructed Graham to inspect all the inventory at Butlers Farm, intending to sell it at auction. With Cain struggling financially, Joe assumed he would have no choice but to agree to the sale.
Graham went to the farm to speak with Cain, but Cain and his team were busy dealing with an ongoing issue involving their sheep. Cain insisted he didn’t have time, but Graham pressed that Cain needed to hear what he had to say.
Later, as Cain spoke with his brother Sam Dingle (James Hooton), it became clear that Graham had warned Cain about Joe’s underhanded plan. Cain said they would “play him at his own game,” emphasizing that their main goal was to keep Joe at bay.

Graham returned to Home Farm and told Joe and Kim that the farm’s inventory was of little value, though Joe was already fully aware of what they had. As he wondered why Graham was seemingly “throwing him under the bus,” Kim quipped that Graham was actually “driving the bus.”
Later, Joe confronted Graham, presenting proof that he knew Graham had lied about his trip to Butlers. Joe then remarked that Graham “should have stayed dead,” a sentiment Kim agreed with.
However, neither Kim nor Joe realize that Graham seems to be siding with Cain after discovering his cancer diagnosis and Moira Dingle’s (Natalie J Robb) current imprisonment.
As Graham works to stop Joe from carrying out his ruthless plan to take over Cain and Moira’s farm, some Emmerdale viewers are speculating that Graham could be an undercover police officer, aiming to take Joe down.

On Facebook, one soap fan commented: “Graham is definitely not on Joe’s side – he must be undercover for the police, right???!!!” Another replied: “Seems like it,” while a third added: “I really hope so x.”
“I hope he takes them both down and helps Cain and Moira,” urged one viewer, while another said: “That would make more sense than the ridiculous story he’s been spinning about faking his death.”
However, one fan believes Graham holds a position even higher than a police officer, adding: “I think Graham’s above a regular cop, maybe CI5 or something similar.”
